Self Starters

'Lets try this out first to see if it will work this way', prompted a flurry of enthusiastic activity that deepened the group's understanding.

Fired with Enthusiasm

Pupils really enjoy school and are fired with enthusiasm for learning because of excellent teaching in all parts of the school. (Ofsted)

Early Years

The vibrant curriculum balances times when children choose their activities and adults decide what they need to do to speed their learning.

Excellent Guidance

Pupils are set challenging targets and understand what to do to reach them. This is because of excellent guidance and timely feedback from the staff

Monday 20th April 2020

Dear Parents and Carers

Going forward, every Monday there will be new ideas for home learning uploaded to the ‘Homework In case of School Closure,’ section of the school website under each of the classes. These will also be emailed to you by the class teacher. These are suggestions only and do not all have to be completed; they are there to give you ideas and support during this difficult time. As well as completing the more formal aspects of learning, this is the perfect time to facilitate some free play and creativity with your children as well as encouraging them to participate in tasks and activities such as cooking, gardening and a range of other life skills. Teachers would love to see your home learning so feel free to email your child’s class teacher with photographs and videos of your wonderful home learning.

Stay home and stay safe

Kind regards

Mrs Dickens and Mrs Cole
