Our Most Recent Ofsted Report

Hall Meadow Primary School was last inspected by Ofsted on 6–7 December 2022, and received an overall rating of Good in all key areas — including Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management, and Early Years provision.
We are proud of the outcomes of the inspection, which reflect the dedication of our staff, the hard work of our pupils, and the support of our wider school community.

Summary Highlights

  • ‘Leaders are highly ambitious that all pupils will achieve well. Pupils enjoy their lessons. They are eager to learn.’ 

  • 'Pupils learn what is right, what is kind and what is safe at this inclusive, happy school.

  • The curriculum is “ambitious and well planned in most subjects,” with strong foundational teaching—especially in phonics and reading—helping pupils make good progress 

  • Inspectors affirm it is a “inclusive, happy school” where pupils “learn to do what is right, what is kind and what is safe.” 

  • Relationships are strong: “Pupils said that they feel welcome and safe”; bullying is rare and resolved positively 

  • Safeguarding and pastoral support are effectively prioritised, with staff quickly addressing pupils’ social and emotional needs
