Class Size

We are a one-form entry school. This means we have only one class per year which will follow them through their journey at primary school. Our classes have no more than 30 children in each.

 

Visiting our Academy

Prospective parents who would like to visit the school are invited to contact the office to make an appointment . We will be providing school tours for families who want to come and see us, in readiness for September 2024.

Please read the admissions policy below including our over subscription criteria should you wish to apply for a place for your child at Hall Meadow Primary School. 

 

New Pupils September

If your child is offered a place at Hall Meadow Primary, to start Reception Class in September, you will be invited to attend a welcome evening. During the welcome evening, you will be given a date and time for your child's stay and play session and take away a welcome pack, containing all the information you will need for your child's first day of school.

Once your child is on roll you will receive a number of emails asking you to log in to the various communication, payment and learning systems we use. If you have any queries the office will happily help you.

 

New Pupils Mid-Year

If your child is offered a place at Hall Meadow Primary School during the school year, you will be invited to collect a welcome pack, which will contain all the information you will need for your child's first day of school.

 

First day of school information:

The school day starts at 8:45am and finishes at 3:20pm for all year groups.

The school gates are opened at 8:40am each morning and 3:15pm each afternoon.

Late arrivals and late collections are monitored daily.
